I have just finished a pair of slippers. I crocheted some wool that I had spun a while ago. Fairly coarse, about 30micron, natural colour.  Threw them in the washing machine and put them through the cycle twice. They felted nicely. So I put another pair, before felting,  in the pic for comparison. What a difference.

Here is the nappy soaker that I have just hand knitted using some very soft merino tops that I spun on my Ertoel wheel. Also I hand dyed the tops before I spun a three ply.

Another name for it is babies bum jumper.
